These young plants will grow up to 40-45cm high and 30-40cm wide. How to grow: On delivery of your young plants, plant them on into a larger pot, in any good quality compost. Grow them on in warm frost free conditions. After two or three weeks pinch out the growing tips of each plant, to create a bushy plant that will produce masses of flowers. When the risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise Fuchsia plants to outdoor conditions by hardening them off over a period of 7 to 10 days, before putting them in the garden. Plant the base of the stem 5cm below the soil surface and provide a deep winter mulch and shelter from cold drying winds .When planting out into flower beds. For best results: Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded Fuchsia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.
